Hi all.
My question is, i have decided to build a 37kg synder glas game rod, i have got a unibutt, i have got a cork fore grip, shaped to wrap leather over it, i was wondering what tips 2 get the leather on snug, and what sort of glue should i use, also how do i stop resin or glue bleeding out the holes in the leather? Thanks in advance for any help Re: fore grip question

I have seen many manufactures out of Florida use a small diameter rope and wrap it around the same pattern as the seems on the leather strips. They make it snug and then tape the ends to hold it in place while the glue sets. Once you take the rope off it leaves a cool grove that spirals all around the grip. Not sure how to keep the glue from comming through the holes, maybe dont use too much glue. Re: fore grip question

Depends on what type adhesive you use. Liquid epoxy may not be the best thing. I have used 3M 777 adhesive with good results as well as contact cement.
