Gidday Guys,
Have any of you got a smart way to create the profile in cork to fit the into the back end of an SBS seat? Note that I do not own a micro band or scroll saw (wish I did). Cheers Chris Re: Fuji SBS Seat Cork Adaptor

I think some sort of drum sander attachment will make it perfect every time. I do think the suppliers sell this cork adaptor piece if you are unable to make your own. I think if you search for how to make cork for the IPS seat, you'll find some pertinant information for the SBS which I think it pretty similar. Re: Fuji SBS Seat Cork Adaptor

Chris, the profile for the cork piece is available from Fuji japan, as part of the reel seats catalogue page. You can cut the pieces out in plywood, and make a jig wide enough to accomodate the grip diameter. Clamp it up, then use a drum sander (large) on a Dremel to cut the profile.
