I was wondering if anyone tried the fugi titanium yet? I use recoil a lot but the fugi looks even better. The guide circle is more rouded leaving less area to touch the line and it looks a little more solid then the recoil. Cost is a little less then the recoil too. For salt water use i think Fugi may have another winner but wonder if anyone has seen them to remark. Re: anyone tried the fugi titanium?

Fuji has had Titanium SIC ring guides for a long time maybe the Concept style are new, I don't know. They aren't the wire ring type like Recoils though Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! yea, Ok, ive used the fugi titaniums before, they are as good as it gets. I misread the post and thought it was new wire framed guide they released? Its been my experience that they are more expensive than the recoils. Ive also played aroung with the AMTak Titans, although they are a nice guide, the frame is a lil' fragile to me, but i'm a hack on my stuff so Im not the best person to comment. I've also used the Fuji SOLID titanium (not plated) framed guides with the SiC ring insert and love them. Both on spin and fly rods. The best. Yes, they're quite a bit more expensive than Recoils. A bit heavier than the Recoils but I feel the increased line flow and speed easily make up for the extra weight. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
