I am building a T&T Horizon. Anyone have any good color combo's for this? I'm thinking Gudebrod rust with copper metallic trim band. CP on the rust. All suggestion's welcome. Re: Thread colors for T&T blank

Black with NCP white trim. I did some prototypes for them many years ago with this pattern and they liked it so much they adopted it. But it would cause the rod to look like many of their production rods. Still, it's striking in a very understated sort of way.

Yes, it is a "midnight blue" color. Doesn't seem to lighten up any when in the sun, stays pretty dark. Re: Thread colors for T&T blank

John,
It came up again in a post above, I like Garnet and Blue Dun on blue blanks. I know a fellow would puts a dark Aqua Blue metallic with single thread gold trim bands in the wrap on all his rods and some of his old Powells are quite striking, just a litte bright for me. T&T recommends a dark green for their Horizon which I just built and used . Thread color is a personal choice. What every you think will look good to you it's your rod. Bill Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
