Expo Weather

The weekend forecast has been updated just a bit. They are now calling for a slight chance of rain late Saturday and pretty good chance by Sunday. But the highs both days are now forecast for the low to mid 40's so ice and that sort of thing isn't anticipated. Very cool and possibly rainy by Sunday - great weather to be inside looking at over ten thousand (yes, over ten thousand) rod blanks and related components.

Darn! Now I know what I forgot to pack last night, my goretex raincoat. I knew I had forgotten something, as I always do and I won't get a chance to stop by the house again before heading south. So I'll be the guy walking to/from the show wearing an x-large hefty bag if it is raining tomorrow or Sun ........

I will be delighted to see water that isn't hard. 40 degrees may make me break out the shorts and sandles.

After the cold weather that we've been having in the mountains of NC, the 40s will seem warm to me. I think it was in the mid 20s here this morning and the mid teens yesterday.

I feel bad for Mark coming from Southern Cal because NC in the winter is NOT the sunny South - even in the Piedmont.
