There aren't specific instructions on how to get elongated or compressed spacing in either book you mention. I honestly never really thought about it, as I finagle VW to get it. TEHre's a couple o fposts somewhere on teh VW page on how to use VW to get the spacing for elongated or compressed. I'l try to find it. Re: For billy V or dave Boyle

Hi Allen,
I would print it off true-to-size and then measure it directly. The Spacing List in Vizwrap assumes a square pattern, so that won't help you. Regards Dave Boyle www.visualwrap.com Re: For billy V or dave Boyle

I didn't look, but generally you have to change the wrap length in teh TAper View. If you want 5 repeats elongated, get teh square spacing for SIX or SEVEN REPEATS and look at teh length of the wrap that VW figures out for you. Now change the number of repeats to 5, wrap the pattern, change the number in the Taper view to the length when there were 6 or 7 repeats. Hit Spacing adn you'll have slongted.
If you have specific specs & a script of a pattern you want to wrap, post it and I'll get you your spacing step by step so this all makes sense. Re: For billy V or dave Boyle

That might actually work! It will certainly give a spacing that elongates the pattern.

Dave, I do it all the time. It's so much easier to see than to explain in words. I'm glad you understood that, hopefully everyone else who read it does too. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
