Ole,
It is NOT an exact match. The Blue(DB) of the Forecast Spey blanks are more of an Dark Gloss Blue ( Color Chart in blanks section of catalog -page 3- of the 2006/2007 Batson Ent - Rainshadow/Forecast stocking product catalog) and the insert is more of a Blue/Teal color woven graphite( See page 68 of the same catalog - There is a large color photo.) You will be able to see the difference. Two different factories, as close as we could get w/o it costing you all too much $. "The Vision Continues" Personally I still use them on the Batson/Forecast Series but if you wanted a closer color match use the All Aluminum / Anodized Blue Reel Seats w/o the Graphite insert, the color matches closer to the Blue. There are also other options - Batson TRI-AH12M-CB, or the TRI-AH16M-CB = These are the new Triangle Reel Seats in Cobalt Blue ( Batson Catalog Pg 100 )
Thank you for your support. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
