I have a question. I have acouple of the Bass Pro brand of rods. They have what they call "The Power Hump". I really like the way they feel. My question is, to do this is there a specific reel seat required, and do you have to shape the cork yourself? I am sorry if these are simple questions, I just wanted to know. Re: Power Hump?

You can make your own, I have a few I built using the Wiebe 15 degree offset realseat and my own shaped cork, you just get some of the larger diameter cork fo the first rings near the seat, finish with the regular size, shape them and flatten the sides to the width of the reelseat. I'd bet Neal's may still have some. FishStick4U used to but I no longer see them. Re: Power Hump?

I have done some using a standard reel seat. I just turned the cork to form a hump behind the reel seat then taper it back down for the rest of the handle, Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
