As of last Friday, booth sales for the 2007 International Custom Rod Building Exposition closed. I may have left someone out and will go through things very thoroughly in the next couple of days, but it appears that we will have 35 companies exhibiting in over 60 booths. That represents a 16% increase in number of companies attending and a 35% increase in exhibit space. Considering that each of the past 3 years events were each the largest custom rod building events ever held anywhere in the world, this continued growth has now exceeded my own expectations of just how large and how good this event can become.

You can view the list of exhibitors at: [home.earthlink.net]

The variety of exhibitors is the best we've had to date and include several new companies and a few with very specialized rod building products and services.

I will be working on the seminar schedule in the next few weeks and hope to have that list up on the event website by mid-October.

The host hotel, the Radisson, is filling up fast. If you want to stay next door to the event facility, make your reservations now. There are several more hotels within walking distance of the Showplace, and you can find their contact information here: [home.earthlink.net]

There will be a handful of surprises in store for everyone at the upcoming event. With the new venue on tap, we just have a lot more options in terms of what we can do for both the exhibitors and the attendees. And we're doing it all at a lower cost to everyone involved. That means you'll have more money to spend with the exhibitors in the main hall.

Marketing efforts will be tripled this year and are set to begin in earnest during October. Our goal is to turn out a full 2,000 rod builders (and at least that many more general interest fishermen). A few years ago even I might have said that was impossible, but after the success of the previous events, I think it's a number that we can reach. We'll see what happens, but in any case, this is an event you don't want to miss. There is nothing else even remotely like it for rod builders, anywhere in the world.

Tom,

Do all of the exhibitors have websites? I went to the ICRBE link you have, and when I clicked on the exhibitors names it came up that no web site could be found. I know all the ones that are connected with this forum ( sponsor's / poster's ) have websites. But it's some of the new one's that I'm talking about.

I still have a few to link up. Been pretty busy, but will try to have them all done by end of this week.
