I was at the tackle shop today and saw the new Shimano Trevalla rods. The blanks were awesome. The one I loved was rated for 8-200 lb!
Does anyone know where to purchase the blanks or know what blanks they are using? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/24/2006 08:26PM by matt wirt. Re: Shimano Trevalla rod blanks

Some of the high end rods are G Loomis built blanks, but not G Loomis designed blanks. I haven't ever seen any of the blanks up for sale. Maybe in Japan? Re: Shimano Trevalla rod blanks

Nope, not in Japan either. As far as I know those blanks aren't sold anywhere, but look for verticle jigging blanks with several of the sponsors... do the same job but don't look as cool.

Search on "vertical jigging" on this board "last 90 days" and you will find considerable information on this subject. Re: Shimano Trevalla rod blanks

No, he means 8-200#'s. THE entire top half of the rod flops out. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
