Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know that I recieved word this evening from CTS that we are now able to offer custom pad printing on all CTS rod blanks. For example, if you are in the business of building and selling rods, and you'd like to make CTS blanks your primary build platform, for a small setup fee we can have plates custom made with your company logo, and any other important info you desire, then have each blank factory pad printed in metallic silver. The plate setup fee is very minimal, and once the plates are made, the cost per rod is really really low...similiar to that of a custom decal believe. I know this service won't be for everyone, especially those of us who build only a few rods a year, but for those of you building and selling quantities of rods, and are looking for a really professional look, and to streamline your assembly and finish out time, this may be something you wish to consider. If you have any questions, please email me for details. Best Regards, Andy Dear Lamar Fishing Re: A custom touch.....

Greetings,
A quick question. How will you know what location to print? It seems difficult to ensure it would no be obstructed by the grip, butt or guide wrap. Will Re: A custom touch.....

Will,
You would give us those dimensions. If for example you build many 7' popping rods with 10" rear grips, 2.5" Foregrips and Fuji ECSM seats, the location will be the same every time. All we'll need to know is to print the logo 17" from the butt of the rod. If the logo is being printed on a matte finish blank, we can also have the bottom portion of the blank dipped in clear urethane to cover the inscription at the factory. That way all you'll have to do is cork and wrap the rod. Like I say, I know this service won't be for everyone, but for small production guys it would add a very professional look and cut down on labor and turnaround time a great deal.
