After almost completeing my first rod. U guessed it have the itch to build another one. Im looking at building a nice walleye rod something with a sensative tip about 7'. Does anyone have any good suggestions on a good blank. they have worked with. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Adam Re: Walleye Blank

I just built one on a St.Croix 3s70mlf. Used it in June to throw crawler harnesses on Lake Erie. Nice sensitive blank,good action. I'm currently building one for a guy who fishes the PWT on the same blank. Trying a split grip for the first time. Re: Walleye Blank

Jiggin' (what weight), riggin' (same question), crankin' or bottom bouncin' with spinners, or ????? Lots of different blanks for fishing walleyes and would need more info than you've given, Adam. Putter Williston, ND Re: Walleye Blank

Bottom bouncin spinners or casting spinners up to 1/2 oz preferably ML to M , i would use it also for perchin on lake michigan with the same setup i use for walleyes. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
