Unsure of good, but fair number to put down on the sheet. The job: reel seat replacement on a casting rod. The details: remove the 2 butt guides on the bottom half of the rod, carve off the 4" cork foregrip, dremel the reel seat in half to remove, and put all back in good order.
Estimate about 2 hours. Never had this repair scenario come up before. I was thinking 40 (usd) and parts. No overhead. No excise tax worries. High? Low? About right? Thanks. KD Re: Appropriate Fee for Services: Reel Seat Replace.

If guides are good leave them and the foregrip in place. Whack the seat and the blank in the middle with Dremel. Split and remove. Insert post and sleeve and install new seat with Rod Bond. Than kthis board and Jesse Buky for the idea. Twenty minutes $ 30.
