Madeira PN #40 similar in thickness to ??

Can anyone tell me if Madeira Polyneon 40 is similar to size A thread or C Etc. Im interested in this thread but dont know what I'm getting into. Thx

Thank you Gentlemen, BIG help. So in theory I can use the PN 40 as underwrap and size A Gudebrod, Rice Etc on top without having to do a coat of CP on the underwrap......the A thread wont "dig in" to the 40 wt. in other words. Much oblidged Gents!!
