Hi All,
I've been trying to make up a spreadsheet based upon Tom's awesome spec sheet in the photos section. Unfortunately, excel hates me. Does anyone have a template that they would be willing to share? If some sort of database program is available, I'd look into that as well. I know there was one around a while ago, but I haven't been able to find it since. Any help would be appreciated. If you'd rather email me: jcrouse@justincrouse.com Thanks in advance, Justin Re: Rod Spec Sheet help

Citation LINK for those who don't know what we're talking about:
TITLE = "Rod Spec Sheet" by Tom Kirkman. ... It is a *.JPG file [www.rodbuilding.org] RBO PHOTO GALLERY SEARCH = "TOM KIRKMAN" + "SPEC" Filed in the "MISCELLANEOUS" Category Justin Crouse - Sorry, I don't have a template or adapted version. Using the MS-EXCEL Tutorial to learn how to make your own Tables for various things is time well spent, IMO. Being able to customize your Header-Footer, and your Column Width and Row Height can all be done from the Drop-Down EDIT Menus. Plus then you have an editable version that is easily updated as your preferences change. -Cliff Hall+++, FL-USA Re: Rod Spec Sheet help

Justin,
I agree completely with Cliff. A little time spent becoming familiar with Excel will be time well spent in the long run. A spread sheet is very powerful and easy to use once you become familiar with it. If you become familiar with Excel I think that you will be surprised at all of the things that you will find yourself using it for. I don't think that you want to attempt to put together a speck sheet with data base software. Most data base software is less user friendly than a spread sheet. Re: Rod Spec Sheet help
