The good news! I visited with Jesse all day Tuesday and am glad to report that Jesse's condition is quite good. I watched him dress himself, transfer from the hospital bed to a wheel chair and transport himself via the chair to a very strenuous two hour physical therapy session. Jesse is again the real "Bad to the Bone" and is working very hard to get back to his shop in the next couple of months. At present the only remaining problem is his left leg from the knee to the foot.

He is now demonstrating how rod wrapping is done with the manual wrapper and taking cash down payments from the nursing and therapy staff for custom rods.

He is in the room normally after 2:00 pm each day. Walt has managed to open Jesse's shop each day from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. He is building rods for existing customers to maintain JB Rods presence in Virginia Beach until Jesse can return.

Thanks Keri about the wrong phone number I posted. I will get the correct number and repost tomorrow.

Jesse asked me to pass on his true thank you to all the building community who have sent cards and well wishes.

Bill Stevens

Bill, thanks fo rthe update. I don't think posting the room number is a good idea, too easy for too many people to give him a call.
