Recently purchased a replacement chuck for my power wrapper which is a Pac Bay Rodsmith. I purchased the wrapper about 17 years ago and the original chuck appears to be pressed onto the shaft. My problem is the new chuck has a tapped hole for a screw to hold the chuck onto the shaft and my old chuck is pressed on. The shaft doesnt have a hole to screw the new chuck into place. The new chuck is plastic and the old chuck is steel. Has anyone had a similiar problem such as mine when replacing thier pac bay chuck ? Re: Pac Bay replacement chuck ?

The upgrade chuck that I have is like Spencer's and the chuck is metal. Did you get the New upgrade chuck that is a whole new chuck, support, pulley, etc or possibly just a replacement for the old chuck? Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
