I'm trying to figure out a good blank for pulling 1 - 2 oz. bottom bouncers for walleyes. It will be built as a casting rod. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I think the St Croix 7 ft MH crankbait blank would do a good job. 3C70MHM.

Think about a G-Loomis WB813. I use two of these as bottom bouncing rods. The spec's show it is for weights less than an ounce but I find it more than adequate for bouncers up to 3 ounces. This blank is one from their walleye series and is brown in color.
