When Mike Barkley gave his talk on handles in Charlotte he had an aluminum jig used for cutting rings and checkerboard patterns, I got short on funds and didn't pick one up at the show. Can someone point me to the source for purchasing one now. Thanks.

Custom Tackle Supply for one. The J. J. jig, the one shown on the site, isn't the one they now sell. It's a nicer quality jig.

Sam,
Do a search under my name in the photo section and you will see the jig that I bought from Custom Tackle Supply. The photo is on the second page of my postings under "Split burl cork rings". I did not post a photo of the second jig that CTS sells. I would recommend buying both.

Hi Sam, Custom Tackle is the only place that you can get them. They're not on his web site so you have to call him. [www.rodbuilding.org]

Thanks guys, I'll get in touch with them. Just couldn't remember who it was that had them in Charlotte.
