Don,

Red, Gold, metallic Brown, Red Bronze, Brown/Black, Red/Black, Green/Black, Silver, Black, Tan, light Yellow are some to start with. I've used all these on blanks that color and had them turn out well. You will need to experiment with main wrap and trim wrap colors a bit, but that blank color does a good job of hosting many wrap color combinations.

The Visual Wrap web site has a neat little area where you can place colors on a
guide to see the combinations yourself before touching any thread. Kinda CoOL!

I've seen some rootbeer/brownish blanks lately with metallics in red w/gold accents. Looked very nice.

Burgundy with metallic copper trim. Or invisible wraps. Or, the same color brown(rootbeer) as the blank with no cp. Ralph

If at first you don't succeed, go fishing, then try, try again.

I second the burgundy and metallic copper. I am doing up a Tiger Eye spin blank right now, using metallic burgundy/metallic copper trims, and it's really popping!
