Guys,
Are there any videos out there that i can get my hands on? Specifically I'd like to see how the pro's apply the epoxy. Any help would be great. Thanks Steve Re: Rod Building videos

With regard to epoxy, there wouldn't be much to see. I do it here for people who stop by and they nearly always say, "What? Is that all you do?" Right, I just load the brush, lower it to the rod, make one revolution, move over and do it again. Then I get the heck away from the rod and leave it alone - the epoxy knows what to do.
Artie Herbert does have at least one tape that shows him applying epoxy. I suspect the Flex Coat "How We Do It" DVD might show that as well. Check with the sponsors to the left. Most offer various videos and DVDs on all aspects of rod building. ............. Re: Rod Building videos

Mudhole has their Rodbuilding 101 section, at the top of the home page. Artie Herbert's video is there, I believe. This is where I first learned how to apply epoxy. They also have quite a few other videos, all free.

Steve Petri has a Rod Building Basics DVD, new for 2006. We sell it on our site.
[www.ackfishing.com] You can view a preview. One of the topics he goes over is how to apply epoxy. This video is hot off the presses and includes the latest and greatest on the subject of rod building. At least check out the preview, that's free. We've got several as well from very basic step by step "intro" videos to some very specialized technique videos here ---> []
We also have DVDs from both Ken Preston & Doc Ski that are currently out of stock, but should be back on the shelf in a matter of days. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Mark Griffin [] C&M Custom Tackle San Dimas, California Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
