Patrick's 5th Rod - Thanks to all who helped!

We just posted a couple of pictures of Patrick's 5th rod, more to come. This is for my cousin's son who is in the military. It's a Rainshadow blank surf rod with Forecast components. We would like to thank Robert at FishSticks4U for his assistance in helping choosing the blank and components. It's really an awesome combination. We also want to thank Tom Kirkman for his help in choosing the reel, a Quantum Kinetic. Also thanks to Mike Barkley for his kind comments. Finally, last but not least, we would like to thank Billy V and the rest of the NERBS for their kind and helpful comments at the Rod Building Show, that was worth the price of admission alone. A special thanks to Jim Rippe to get us hook on this hobby and bailing us out when we get stuck.

Great job, as usual. One of the things I noticed with Patrick's wraps is his attention to detail. He really takes time to make sure everything is perfectly square, and lined up. Most will never notice, but he does, and he makes it a point to make sure in case someone does look a little closer - they'll see perfection.

Can't wait to see you guys next year, well save space at teh NERBs booth to display a couple of Pat's rods.
