Many years ago I made a SUL681F Lamiglas S-Glass rod blank up and I am currently making another up (I sat on the first after the boat tossed in the waves).
The blank I'm using has been collecting dust for almost 25 years and I can still see through the blank it is that straight. My memory recalls that it was a little light for 6lb. What is the older brother to this blank that would fish say 8lb line (or 6lb a little better)? OR What would be todays equivalent to it's big brother be? Thank you Robert Re: Lamiglas SUL681F

Robert,
Can you live with a faster actioned blank? Does it have to be S Glass? Lots of nice blanks out there. Re: Lamiglas SUL681F

Faster action - no worries - possibly even better.
No I guess it doesn't have to be S-Glass but S-Glass has a real nice feel Robert Re: Lamiglas SUL681F

Robert,
Might look at the Seeker freshwater blanks, the @#$%& and BC series, both can be made with S Glass, you just have to ask for it. The BC series used to be S Glass normally if I remember right, but it's been a few years since I used one. Mudhole did have some of the SUF681F left, they sell the Seeker blanks, sounds like the perfect people to help you. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
