A reference would be the Custom Rod Thread Book, by Clemens. I think the pattern is created as follows:
Layout: Small diamond (will fill in center of cross) Outer box (background color) Inner adjacent box (Maltese Cross color) Sequence: Outer box - out Inner box - in Continue until inner box closes on small diamond. Re: Maltese cross weave

Are you looking for a weave or cross wrap? Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: Maltese cross weave

Frank most maltese cross patterns I am aware of are actually cross wraps and not weaves. I havent seen a weave of one yet. You should check with Billy Vivona, he has a great pre book on cross wraps. Re: Maltese cross weave

Frank,
I got your email. I made a 59 X 59 thread Maltese Cross weave pattern and sent it to you in excel format. If anybody else would like it just email me. Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
