I think it is appropriate to offer this quote from Richard Raffin, author of "Turning Bowls". He states-----"craftsmanship has as much to do with knowing what to do when things go wrong as getting everything right all the time; that seldom happens". This forum has been a very valuable resource to me and others as we strive to become "craftsman" in the rod building arena.
A big thanks to all who are so willing to share making this site the "knowing what to do" or maybe better stated "knowing where to go" resource for rodbuilders. Herb Knowlton Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/03/2006 09:18AM by Herb Knowlton. Re: craftmanship

Hrb,
I will go with that. I would also add also know when it's right to stop and throw away and start afresh. Good Craftsmen I think always want to share. It's how they learnt. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
