Penn used to make their line of "International" IGFA chair rods with graphite/glass composite blanks. The actions of these blanks were certainly faster than the parabolic bends of E-glass RT rods. Chair rods usually have fairly slow actions. My question is this:
Does anyone make an IGFA specific composite blank or would I be just as well using a stand-up blank if I can find one with a slower action? Jay If at first you don't succeed...try epoxy Re: Composite IGFA blanks

Try Seeker. They list a series of IGFA blanks for Trolling, Heavy, One piece full length "E" Glass/Boron and "S" Glass. Re: Composite IGFA blanks

Lamiglas makes a graphite boat/troll (GBT) or the Tri-flex composite (CGBT). Rainshadow also makes composite blanks. Re: Composite IGFA blanks
