2007 Int. Rod Building Expo

The link for the 2007 event is now active. The site will change a bit as we get into the summer and fall months prior to the actual event, but I wanted to go ahead and get something ready for those who like to make their plans well in advance. The link is at the top of the sponsor column.

The host hotel, the Radisson, will be prepared to start taking room reservations by the first of next week. Make sure you mention that you want the special room rate reserved for the Custom Rod Building Exposition.

The convention hall has been booked and everything is in order. This event will dwarf that of the previous 3 years and do so in a more affordable, user friendly atmosphere.

When can Vendors start getting booth spaces? I see it says the list will be updated by Mid-Summer.

Nice job on the site.

I will mail the booth contracts in about 30 to 45 days. This year, you won't have to work with a show promoter, decorator, phone and electric service, etc. All these things will go through me which should greatly reduce the headache of having to line things up through 3 different entities as done previously. Not only that, but all booth, utility hook up, etc., fees have been reduced for the 2007 event.

That looked like a total mess. I ended up paying a penalty for electrical because I forgot to order it prior to teh show. I flirted with teh girl who was taking the paperwork for 5 minutes, and by the time I was done the electrical was already hooked up! Why did I pay more? That's stunk!

Reduced fees are always a good thing.

Billy -
You have restored my faith ... I went through every page of your book/pamphlet and there was not one "teh" (the NERBs Trademark). All of the kidding aside - beautiful step by step layout. I am in love with the Rose design. I'm thinking red on the 0/180 and yellow on the 90/270 just to see if I can squeeze all that thread in. Maybe if I start every sentence with "teh" I'll get it right. Seriously - every bit of the information you've provided in there is easy to understand, very well presented and simplified so even I can follow it . Thanks!
