Is Gudebrod HT Holographic suitable for guide wraps?

I mean the wrap holding the guide on, not merely as an underwrap or trim band.

The HT threads are every bit as strong as the others.

Just be careful of how or what they rub on before going onto the guide. The covering can get pulled off rubbing on some thing ruff.

I just finished a rod using this thread......strongest stuff I've had to cut so far. The razor blade didn't want to cut it when I finished the wraps. I used a nail clipper instead.

I maybe missing something here, but I didn't think Gudebrod made a HT Holographic thread. Just Holographic braided thread. HT metallics are fine to use. However if you are using the Prizm holographic thread, then I would say it is not a good thread for the guide foot.
