First off, Id just like to say that this forum is great. So many knowledgable builders. I always get good advice here. thanks.
Anyway, I want to try marbelizing the guide wraps on a rod Im building now. I dont really know how to do it. I think I would like to do a silver underwrap with gudebrod HT metallic, then black NCP over the guide feet and then marblelize blue and silver between the guide feet. never done it before. I know that LS supreme is not the best finish for marbelizing but thats what Ive got. Also, if you guys could let me know where I could pick some of the right materials/pigments up that would be great too. thanks for the help. Jared Re: marbelizing

Hey Jared,
There is an earlier thread on the same subject. First, get Putter's DVD at www.@#$%& They are sponcors. I cant help with advise as I am going to have to try it for the first time soon as I get some time. I do have Putter's brief tutorial but it is not as complete as the DVD of course. I would be happy to email it to you if you send me an email to reply to. OK. Do a search and use "all dates" you will get lots of info! Jared, There is an article on marbleinsing in the library at the top of the page and a discussion a few post down from this. Actually LS is good for marbling especially the high build which is excellant!
Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
