Has anyone here used this guide as a strip. guide on a #9 flyrod?
What do You think? Would it be usefull for long casting, using stiff sinking lines, or teeny type lines? Thanks! Re: ICMNSG Concept SiC Casting Guides

A friend has a Thomas & Thomas Vector 10' 7 weight with that style of guide as the stripper. Looks very nice. ICMNSG Concept SiC Casting Guides

I was, actually still am, that it might be too "tall" or large for a fly rod, but being a #9 fly rod and using those types of lines, I guess you´re right. Why not?
Which and how many would you use or suggest on a fast #9 ? How many strip. guides does that 10 footer have? Thanks a lot! Re: ICMNSG Concept SiC Casting Guides

There are 12 guides in all on that particular T&T. Two ICMNSG style guides, a #16 stripper and a #12. I have used a #16 Fuji TSVSG as a stripping guide on several 10 weight saltwater rods. They are about the same height as the ICMNSG. I think #16 and #12 would be good choices for your 9 wt. Re: ICMNSG Concept SiC Casting Guides
