Rod Builder Tables

Although many rod builders had asked me about displaying at the most recent National Rod Builders Show, only 3 took advantage of the half price tables at this year's event.

We are going to offer these tables again at the 2007 event. But they will be set up a bit differently. In addition, we are going to pull out all the stops in an effort to draw the local fishing traffic into the show to view the custom rod builders' products. To this end, we are currently contracting for billboard space along with I-85 and I40, spanning from Charlotte to Raleigh. This aspect of the event - drawing general interest fishermen, will take a quantum leap this year and any custom rod builder wishing to display and sell custom rods should be planning now to take advantage of the special "Rod Builders' Aisle" that we have planned for the 2007 event.

Coupled with free parking and a much lower admission fee (a 40% reduction) we feel we can pack the hall with not only rod builders, but with general interest fishermen as well. Start planning now. Booths and tables will go on sale in about 60 days.

Tom,

You keep this type of thing up and I may have to get me a NC tax ID # and a friend and I will be turning custom wood butt grips, reel seats, and foregrips on the spot! All a person would have to do is go buy skeletons from the other vendors. When we see what people are paying for these wood components we shake our heads in amazement.

We will be there in some form or another.
