Hello guys,
Which of the these rod blanks would you recommend as being the best for midge patterns (dry & wet): 1) Rainforest 6ft 6in 2-piece #2wt? 2) Rainshadow 6ft 6in 2-piece #2wt RX7? Or indeed, please recommend any others that I do not know about. Thanks for your help. Regards, Dave Re: Rainforest v Rainshadow RX7

The choices are six for one and half a dozen for the other in that size and weight range. I'd throw a Forecast blank in for consideration also. Stan Grace Helena, MT "Our best is none too good" Re: Rainforest v Rainshadow RX7

The rainforest is a little slower and has an ERN around 1.9 while the Rainshadow has an ERN around 2.9-3.0. The Forecast has and ERN right around 2.5. It all depends on the distances you plan on fishing. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
