Had the finish set up on a feather inlay and upon closer inspection with better glasses, I noticed that a couple of whisps of the feather were portruding. I let it completely dry and then carefully cut the epoxy, removing the two whisps. The cut I made was very flat but there are still slight edges to the cut. Question... do I just put another thin coat of Thread Master over it or is there some very light sanding or wet sanding I should do before I re-coat it? Thanks Steve Re: sanding epoxy

More than likely, you could just scuff it with Scotchbrite and then recoat lightly. That should take care of it.

Steve if the first coat is no more than 3 days old, I wouldn't worry too much about sanding and just re-coat over the top. If more time has passed than 3 days, scuff with the Scotch Brite.
