Scott,

Welcome to the fun of sourcing fly rod components. Now the facts are that most of all the good components come from the USA, and that includes cork even though it has originated from Portugal..

Ok the U6 seat is a Struble reel seat and as far as I am aware it is only available in black. But things may have changed. Now on the sponsors list on the left are companies that sell Struble products. I use Anglers Workshop and they normally have stock for immediate shipping.

You are just going to have to get used to high shipping charges , handling charges, VAT and import tax like the rest of us. LOL except it aint that funny I guess. our American buddies pay less than half of what we have to pay and they think they are hard done by.

If you are interested in a std black U6 I have a new spare I could let you have.

H+H is very good especially for guides and anything Fuji in the Uk. You can get certain high end blanks from them to. Very good people to deal with.

I will answer you email now.

Tight Lines

Mike Oliver

I believe that ACK sends shipments to the UK regularly.
