I bought a lot of four FLP+ 8' 4/5wt blanks, sold two blanks for the price of the four. I made one to sell to a co-worker that backed out of the deal, so I put it up on @#$%&. The fella that bought it for $125 wrote me to say thanks, and that it cast like a $600 rod.
Now, I suspect he might not have a $600 rod, because when I test cast the rod I thought it was okay, it's a faster action, but not one with a lot of feel to it. However, I like moderate action rods, and the FLP+ is not my cup of tea. I decided not to keep the forth blank for myself, but I'll build it for resale. That's my only experience. Last spring, I bought a FLO 9' 5wt (2 piece) on @#$%& for a good price--I think I spent 29.99 on the blank--and was disappointed, even for that price. I must have been sold a second or third quality blank (of course, it wasn't described as such) because it had more bends and waves that any blank I have ever seen. I have no way of knowing whether @#$%& demons or poor manufacturing are to blame for my blank, but I doubt I'll even wrap it. Re: Fly Logic blanks

I bought a FLO 5 on @#$%& 2 years ago, and I can say Fly Logic is a great product. I asked the selled on @#$%& about the blanks, and found out Fly Logic does not offer rod labels, or a warrentee on their blanks. I won't be going there. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
