Help Requested for Missplaced Thread Goods at National Rod Show

To Fellow Attendees of the National Rod Builders Show 2006:

I'm Dave Mayer, a custom rodbuilder out of Bloomington, MN, who attended his first National Show this past weekend. I inadvertantly left behind a bag of thread goods at Chesapeake Cork Products that was found by R. Streett Whiteford, V.P. Sales & Marketing, during his booth breakdown. He has told me that he passed it to an individual that offered to turn it in to the "Show Producer" (The Fly Fishing Show?), but in checking with Brett and Bev (via Tom Kirkman), they said only a missplaced camera lens was in their possession. I've also checked in with the Convention Center and their lost-and-found did not receive a bag with thread spools.

I would sure appreciate hearing from the person who offered to help Streett find the missplaced owner of the thread goods. The actual contents of the double-bagged collection included 21 - 1 oz. spools of A. H. Rice metallic threads, 4 - 100 yard spools of Rice metallic threads, and a bottle of U-40 Cork Sealer. There should also be my Visa Business Card receipt from Fish Sticks 4U where I purchased the threads (the U-40 was purchased from Mud Hole).

lt goes without saying, I'm most concerned about the Visa situation, but I would sure like to have those thread goods returned to me. I am more than willing to pay shipping and a reasonable handling fee for your time and trouble in helping me retrieve my missing items.

Thanks to any and all who may assist me with this effort...I'll be looking forward to hearing from those who can help.

Best regards,

David Mayer
