Anyone know where to get the aluminum jig Mike Barkley used at Charlotte to make thinner rings (not the checkerboard/diamond jig)?
I thought it was at the Custom Tackle booth, but there were none left shortly after Mikes seminar and I dont see it on the Custom Tackle Supply web site...I might have mistaken the vendor. Re: Cork Cutting Jig

It was Custom Tackle. I bought mine there about 2 months ago. According to Mike, this is the only place you can get it.

If you call Bob at Custom Tackle I'm sure he'll fix you right up. After Mike's seminar there's going to be quite a demand for them I bet. Re: Cork Cutting Jig

Steven, Bob McKamey had one left when I bought mine, and that was right before Mike's presentation. Give Bob a ring - I'm sure he'll get one to you.

Steven,
Bob ran out at the show but they were taking orders for them. I ordered one as I'm sure some others did. Give Bob a call but I was told it takes about a month or so to get it. Randy. Re: Cork Cutting Jig

There are actually two aluminum jigs, one for slicing 1/2" rings into 1/4" pieces or the model for cutting rings into pie shape and diamoned shaped pieces, to produce inlays into grips. We did run out of the slicing jig at the Charlotte Show and will have more being made. I have some of the inlay jigs left in stock. Did not get to see Mr. Mike Barkley's demo, since I was being overwhelmed with customers/friends, but it must have been a hit with you folks. As I can tell by the number of units sold. *** Mike -- You darn tootin' a special token of appreciation will have to go out in your honer of being a "Pass It On Knowledgable & Skilled Person." Thanks for passing on the craft of cork work. Give me a call Mike and let's discuss your reward for being such good folk for the craft!!
