reception after show

I thought the reception on Saturday night was great. It was a good way to meet people, rod builders and vendors. Although it was a bit full in the room, Tom Kirkman did a great job getting everybody settled down. I look forward to next years show!

I've glad to hear that you enjoyed it. I feel a bit bad about the reception - I greatly underestimated the number of builders that would stay Saturday night for the reception. The room filled fast, the food ran out (I had more brought up but it wasn't all that great) and the line was still wrapped down the incoming hall. My fault, I apologize.

I took three photos to take it all in and will post them this afternoon.

Tom, it was still great! I didn't really go for the food, but to meet other rodmakers. It was easier there, with the name tags, to find people you had talked to on the Internet but never seen in person.
Congratulations all around. I really don't see how you organized everything by yourself. I have participated in a few such events, and I know all the little behind the scenes details.

Tom,
You ran a top notch operation. I was very impressed overall in the organization, the numbers of sponsors, the number of builders and the number of new friends I made. I also have many pictures of crowded rooms, jammed halls and the many sponsors booths. Congratulations, on a very fine show. I will attend again.

I agree with Steve, Ron and Mike, Beats anything I've ever been to or will probably be too again. Unless I go to Charlotte again next year. Depends on finances. I learned so much from the seminars, which were all conducted in a very professional manner. Excellent job Tom!! And Thanks Mike, I really enjoyed talking with you, and what you did for me was awesome. Look forward to getting the most of my business, you've earned it. OOPs, and Colleen too!!
