A friend just got back from his tour of Bagdad, and had most of his stuff in long term storage, which is not accessable until he unloads it all.
He had a 755H made up during the week. Good thing we checked the rollers and cleaned off the coating that had jammed 3 rollers. He also had a 6455XXH that's a couple years old, his old trolling rod. I don't think he ever really used it because the gimbel was off about 10 degrees. I've stripped gimbels off using a torch, and screwed up the finish. We put heavy foil around the rear hypalo, and used my heat gun on high setting, and popped off the gimbel without damaging the rear hypalon. Maybe there wasn't that much glue under it. Re-epoxy lined up, and it made the trip. No damage to the gold anodzation either. Maybe I use too much epoxy on my gimbels, because thee really isn't that much side load on them Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
