I have a Seeker Black Steel jig casting stick that I bought before I started making my own rods. I guess it sat in the corner for some time becasuse now the top fourth of the blank has a good size left-turn bend. Any tips on how to get this straigtened out? Re: Bent Rod

lay it flat time should pull it flat always store rods flat or in a purpose rack never just lay them against the wall Re: Bent Rod

Fiberglass rods often do this when leaned against a wall. You can try laying it flat, or leaning it in the opposite direction until the warp comes out. But it may come back with use.
