Decal Help!!!!

Let me start by saying that I have used Decal Connections for years and have had great service as well quality from all they have done for me. Now I have found a decal/Logo that they are unable to do. This Logo has several colors (3) and I need it placed on a clear or black back ground. It can be a water slide or peel and stick. Does anyone know of any other suppliers that may be able to help me with this decal?

Thanks in advance,

Terry

Why are they unable to do it? It is a matter of the colors or that it may be copyrighted?

Tom,
It is not a copy right issue being it is my logo. Deb said that they were only able to do the colors on a white back ground.

Okay, I understand. This may not be what you're looking for, but perhaps you could lay down a base of black thread, apply a coat of finish and then apply the decal over that.

Custom Tackle Supply had someone doing decals for them, as did Merrick, I believe. You try those outfits as well.

Terry they should be able to print it with their Alps,I am sure they know they can use the White color as an overlay then print the colors over that, note some of the metallic colors will lift if used over white sometimes but regular colors should work fine

The color palettes for waterslides are well understood by the folks at Decal Connection. When you attempt to use color over color the things may simply just vanish. The use of background thread underwraps is almost necessary when you apply colored decals.

Bill the one advantage of using the Alps is they are capable of printing in white- this is directly under the color decal you don't see it but it is there one can also use either silver or gold as the under color for some nice effects been doing it for years

i think the problems the original poster has is his choice of black for the background color with colors on top.

Yeah, Bill, using black for a background on the waterslide and then putting colors on it wouldn't work at all, would it.
