Just finished a Rainshadow IP965 early last week and it really came out great - Fuji Alconites, Forhan locking wraps, Threadmaster finiish, and a split handle grip - couldn't wait to show my brother his new Salmon rod. Sunday evening I wanted to double the distance I had used between the spool face and the butt guide in preparation for my next project, so I took it from where I've been safely keeping it.
Afterwards, my Old Timer's kicked in, forgot about the ceiling fan and proceeded to bend the 10, the 8L, and a 7 running guide over BACKWARDS. I was amazed at the minimal damage at the tunnel section at the back of the wrap. That Forhan locking wrap really works great - whoopee! Re: Ceiling fan = 1 Fuji guides = 0

Tim - Way to go! ... You lucked out there, pal. My most recent repeats of such a stunt were last week. Once into the wooden table; one tick on the ceiling fan. Phew! -Cliff Hall+++ Re: Ceiling fan = 1 Fuji guides = 0
