Different TipTops

Speaking of the smaller tip tops. 5.0 to 6.0 tubes with 5.0 to 6.0 rings. I see some with longer side bars than others. And on the shorter side bar tip tops I see that the angle of the ring appears to be closer to 90 degrees than the longer side bar tops. For example the measure of the angle on a Fuji TFST is greater than the angle on a ICFST. Am I seeing things again or is this the case for a reason? Re: Different TipTops

I don't know if they make them to different specs on purpose or if it's just something that happened in the design phase and they have no across the board standard angle for the top rings.
