Looking for suggestions for a tournament bass rod blank.
Loomis. 6'6, 6-10 line. Was looking at the mag bass blanks ?? Med-action but find most are fast ?

Bill

Only blanks I see that would work would be from St Croix, their 3C66MM or the 2C66MM. These are 6'6" blanks, medium action, moderate tip. Meant to be for crankbaits.

Bill,
I just built out a Loomis 7' Blend (B 492 T 5.5 8-14#) bumper wrapped with titanium guides. Great combo that works very well. My .02. Randy.

I second that notion. Also, if they're wanting a higher quality blank jump up to the 4C70MF but trim it down to 6'6". That might fit very well.

Thanks guys
His line seemed a little light ? He wanted a spin rod with a flexible tip. But also the loomis he wanted seemed to stiff. Unless just go for a spin blank with the specs ? Will look into the St Croix's. That is usually the first I look at.

Rainshadwo IMB 782 - 783 - 784 - 785 works fine for flippin and for
the New And Improved Blank Snapper Technique. With the 80 lb
Power Pro the "dudes" can break anything when they are on camera!

The Rainshodow CB series is in my opinion the best blank going. I have built & sold many rods for tournament guys on these blanks, & only heard good things. The CB70M is a medium action with a moderate tip. I have built these blanks as spinning & casting. That flex sounds like what you're looking for.
