I have noticed that Batson's TiCH snake guides sell for considerably less than those offered by Pac Bay. As Bill used to work for Pac Bay, I am lead to believe that his are of equal quality. I used Batson TiCH single-foot wire guides on a 4wt fly rod that I built last year, and have been happy with their performance. I want to use TiCH snake guides on 6 and 8 weight rods that I am planning to build (I just like the look of snakes on a fly rod). Does anyone have experience using both Pac Bay and Batson TiCH snake guides? Re: TiCH snake guides?

I've used both brands in chrome and TiCH and can't tell the difference. Re: TiCH snake guides?

Wouldn't surprize me if they both come from the same factory in China! That being said, both companies sell excellant guides and products. Re: TiCH snake guides?

Batson Forecast Guides are not produced in China. We currently use a factory in Taiwan, as we feel the quality is better there for Components at this point in time.
