I was in touch with Rich today. A fire and a personal situation that affected him a few years ago have finally, it seems, been worked out. He is expected to be back up and running soon. I don't want to air his personal business on this site and will not do so, other than to say he's been a helpful friend to many rod builders over the years and I hope these unfortunate events are behind him now.

Richard is a great guy and has been a lot of help to me. Once he is up and running again I will certainly order supplies from him.

Being located in Ontario Richard is the only supplier of quality rodbuilding components I have come to depend on. i have hust gotten started in this craft, but hope I can encourage my fishing buddies to have me build them a custom rod. I think once they feel the difference of a custom rod built with quality components, purchased from Richard, they will agree it is the way to go. let us know Richard when you are ready fo our business and I will try to support you as best I can.
