Anyone have anything to say about Sulky 40-weight rtayon thread?
I have a customer who is very picky about color and this stuff would be perfect. Will the color hold up? Will is accept epoxy/color preserver without any problem? Josh Markvan www.markvanheirloom.com Re: Sulky Rayon?

I haven't tried it myself but I have yet to hear a positive opinion of Rayon here. Try doing a search for rayon for all dates! Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: Sulky Rayon?

Pass.....Unless you are into stress induced migraines.
Stick with Nylon or Polyester threads. Derek L. McMaster Rohnert Park, CA Born to Fish, FORCED to Work Re: Sulky Rayon?

I think you'd do well to steer yourself away from rayon threads, also.
Sulky and Madeira will have the same colors/as many or more colors in nylon or polyneon, etc. threads and you can avoid the rayon easily. Might not be able to locate it locally; you may have to do some google searching to find it; searches of this sight with Sulky or Madeira might find those better sights, also... Most Hancocks and Jo Anns always seem to have some super duper specials on this rayon thread and we've all been sorely tempted to buy it, but forewarned is forearmed, too. I recently bought Madeira on discount at Jo Ann's. Went home to do a weave with it and saw that it was rayon. I put a little tension on it and the thread broke very easily. I gave it to my wife for sewing kit. There is another company, Gutterman's that has a nice color selection in polyester thread but it is somewhat fuzzy. Re: Sulky Rayon?

Hey guys
Thanks for the perspectives. I certainly won't use it. Josh Markvan www.markvanheirloom.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
