I have one of these outfits on order and assume there will be detailed instructions on how to attach them to the spade drills correctly. Just wondering if anyone has any additional tips that might be useful as well. Thanks. Re: Question on Flex Coat's 6-piece drill pilot bits & jig.

The kit is very easy to use. The instructions are more than adequate.
Use good quality, short shank spade bits. If you just want to bore the arbors, use JB-Weld epoxy. I found that it held out better than RodBond, when the bit runs hot. If you also want to bore cork, use JB Weld and pin the pilot to the spade bit. Christian Re: Question on Flex Coat's 6-piece drill pilot bits & jig.

I assembled mine as per directions & used rod bond. No failure yet. Ralph If at first you don't succeed, go fishing, then try, try again. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
