Mick McComesky got a monster size syringe and packed the stuff in there to use. I just eye ball it with very similar sized lumps and mix it up. It doesn't have to be EXACTLY 50/50 and I've had no problems doing it like that on hundreds of rods and cork and burl cork rings. Great stuff and lots of working time. Best product out there for this IMHO.

I do the same a Putter , just scoop a couple of lumps with a popsickle stick of each part and mix on a piece of scrap cardboard or somthing . I like to save all of the phony credit cards that come in junk mail and use them as mixing cards , a couple of uses and in the circular file they go . Have fun , John

All you have to do is get close to an equal volume (mass) on a popsicle stick, using separate popsicle sticks for each component and you're in business. Mix the two components well and you're home free. Great product and very user friendly. Read the directions. Stan

I use 2 disposable plastic spoons (picnic stuff). I find that, for a typical handle, one scoop of each, leveled against the inside lip of the rod bond container, gets you a pretty accurate 50/50 mix. I hope that made sense.

Popsickle sticks. Scoop & eyeball. Nothing more is needed unless you just want to.

The only tool I use is a plastic artist knife/spatula available at Hobby Lobby or Walmart. I dip out a blob of Part A with the tip, put it on a paper plate, wipe the blade one time with denatured alcohol and a paper towel, dip out a like-sized blob of Part B and put it seperately on the plate, re- evaluate the size of the two blobs and adjust Part B, then paste up the two parts with the knife, and when mixed, apply with the knife. One wipe with de-natured and a paper towel, and it's ready for next time. I save the paper plate til the next day to make sure the Rod Bond hardened as it should, although I've never had it not harden properly. Very forgiving and very good to use.
