I was surfing thru Neal's page & he has brass & copper fly reel seats. Are there any guides this color out there?

Hi Tim,
The Pac Bay Fly Guides "Bombay Gold" comes close to a Brass color, "English Bronze" is similar to Copper. We carry these in stock both 1 foot and snakes. You could use copper matalic theads for your windings to give you some copper accents. Sulky international makes matalic threads that work much better then the stuff we get in rod building threads. Re: Copper or Brass Toned Fly Guides?

Pac Bay makes a hard coating in a bronze color that doesn't wear off the contact points quickly as many bronze guides do. Golden Witch has them made for them.
Hopkins & Holloway also makes a bronze guide, but I have no knowledge of their coating system and how it wears. Angler's Workshop and I'm sure others have them and the blued guides also. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
